Although I founded one political party, if greed, ego and selfishness was important, I wouldn’t be sharing the words of others from different opposition parties. However, I’m not of importance.
.
There is a bigger truth and bigger picture however, and it’s not about me, any party or anyone’s personal gain. Ireland and its people are the bigger picture. Stuff personal gain and stuff any one party filled of outrageous undemocratic antics.
.
The opposition parties must put aside differences and realise the they are only pieces of the bigger picture. Ireland is not one party. Ireland is its people – and the people should be Ireland.
.
I don’t call on opposition to unite, I humbly beg them to unite. I humbly beg opposition supporters to lay aside their own dislikes of one another, then work towards having each other’s back. United, all things are better possible. History, including our own, teaches this over and over.
.
I have no qualms about going on bended hand and knee before anyone of decency and non-discrimination value, if that’s what it takes to help a time of better to begin. We each have a part to play in life. We each face a choice in life, to stand at the side of a stage or to each step up and play our part.
.
It’s time in Ireland for a new, better show. A tired one, filled of repeatly failing players, needs to step off and let new players play their part. Their role and yours, are long overdue.
.
If there is to be a time for better, there first has to be a time for genuine unity. We all have our parts to play. Let’s play them together. For Ireland and our children. How, truly, can we not!
