NOTE: I preface this post by acknowledging that not many will (a) likely read it and (b) even less will sadly share it. Such a lack of reading and lack of sharing on its own, will further enable others to be kept in the dark and thus, enable other to be easier mislead. Information is power and history proves this repeatedly.

From The Very Beginning.

From the days of humans progressing in physical nature, the Sahelanthropus period about 6-7 million years ago when humans had a mix of ape-like and human-like features, through the Australopithecus, Homo habilis, Homo erectus, Homo neanderthalensis and Homo sapiens period (when we better developed brain, complex language, and advanced tools), humans still have the ability to think progressively to various degrees.

Humans in our last and current period, greater pushed limits in maths, arts, structure design, medical inventiveness, technological advancement, education and literacy creativity, besides environmental awareness and much more. We have learned how to float amid clouds, reach the deepest part of our oceans and not only landed on other planets and space rocks – but went further by taking part of them back to Earth again.

The human race is (so far) the greatest existing creature to occupy the universe as we know it and still further delve deeper into. The human race should be able to hold its head up high for its many achievements and success despite falling down in many prior failures, but still magnificently rising again to greater wins. Sometimes the greater the fall, the even greater win by a resurrection that follows.

Within the progress of humankind, a repeated lesson often spoken about remains summed up in the words “Those who fail to learn from history, are doomed to repeat it”.  Within all the mental and physical achievements that humans have achieved, you would think that one basic important lesson would be well learned by now, it sunk in deep into our very consciousness over centuries of putting one foot in front of the other, as we think we are further progressing any range of matter and problems to be resolved.

Yet, we have not. We simply have not. As you have read with the results of the USA 2024 presidential election, yet another country has taken a flip backwards in mental thinking while trying to sell the adoption of yet another extremer right-wing bunch of lunatics as so called “progress”. All this has happened before. Hitler was one evil crackpot along with his sycophants – just as Trump has his own crackpots too (both using the same methods to get into office). One example: A raving conspiracy Kennedy that will oversee all medical matters within the Trump second crazy staffed term. See “Part One” connected post HERE.

We as humans have not learned from history. We, in politics alone, are clearly unwilling to.

  • Military Miscalculations: Both Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolf Hitler attempted to invade Russia, only to be defeated by the harsh winter conditions. Neither willing to learn from similar attempts prior to their own stupidity about trying something, ignoring mother nature.
  • Economic Crashes: The Great Depression of the 1930s and the 2008 financial crisis that both resulted from speculative bubbles and lack of regulations, including staggeringly and remarkably, still outstanding lack of accountability. We are still not learning from the creation of factors or situations that in turn, have brought such about or the legislation stupidity such as the USA Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act or similar, which have then led to further economic disaster and subsequent increased depression.
  • Pandemics: Plague of Justinian (541-549 AD – killed 25-50 million), Black Death (1347-1351 – killed 75-200 million), Spanish Flu (1918-1919 – killed 50 million). HIV/AIDS Pandemic (1981-present – killed 32 million so far), COVID-19 Pandemic (2019-present – killed 19 to 36 million so far).
  • Shipwrecks: The sinking of the Titanic in 1912 due to insufficient lifeboats was a lesson in safety that was not fully heeded from too many previous examples that was also showing lessons to be learned to the willing, but repeatedly ignored, as sadly seen in evidence though later more maritime disasters.
  • Genocide: Despite the happening horrors of the previous genocides, we as humans, as political groups, as economic bodies and more demographics, makes it obvious that we are unwilling to (a) learn as we also (b) look other ways, remain too silent or lies and deny so that our economic and political friends can cover their rear end from culpability and possible, justifiable legal prosecution.Armenian Genocide (1915-1923, mass killing of 1.5 million Armenians), Rwandan Genocide (1994, slaughter of 800,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus), Cambodian Genocide (1975-1979, Pol Pot killing 1.7 million people), Bosnian Genocide (1992-1995), Darfur Genocide (2003-present), Rohingya Genocide (2017-present) and the still ongoing Gaza/Lebanon Genocide being carried out by a revenging, over-reaching, murderous Israeli extreme government backed by other sycophantic modern nations. You would think that after every previous genocide, next generations and eras would stop being stupid, blinkered, too quiet and selfish for resource, military or even personal greed needs – but we still refuse to learn. We deliberate refuse to learn from history.
    .

Off To Ireland To Go.

Since the foundation of the modern Ireland state and subsequent parties that have formed around its birth, political terms after term there has been continued utter incompetence, corruption, the hiding of crimes, the aiding of criminality, the open breaking of national, international laws and even human rights attacked and undermined. At the center of all this madness, political greed and consistent cover-up, are two parties. They are Fianna Fail and Fine Gael.

  • Fianna Fáil was founded on March 23, 1926, by Éamon de Valera and a group of Dáil deputies who split from prior created Sinn Féin. The split occurred because de Valera’s motion to allow elected members to take their seats in the Dáil, if the controversial Oath of Allegiance was removed, failed to pass at the Sinn Féin Ard Fheis. The new party adopted its name on April 2, 1926. Fianna Fáil of the past, aimed to republicanise the Irish Free State and initially focused on economic policies that appealed to farmers, working-class people, and the poor.
    .
  • Fine Gael was founded on September 8, 1933, through the merger of three previous political organizations: Cumann na nGaedheal, the National Centre Party, and the National Guard (better known as the Blueshirts – a setup stuffed to the gills with fascists including a later Fine Gael founder. All this is deliberate whitewashed from the modern Fine Gael website). The party’s origins lie in the pro-Treaty side in the Irish Civil War, with the party claiming then (10 years after of actual death and no involvement) the legacy of Michael Collins. Fine Gael still tried to exploit the existence of Michael Collins for its own greedy end. The merger of the prior listed setups aimed to create a stronger political force to counter the rising influence of Éamon de Valera’s Fianna Fáil. Fine Gael has since existed to being the main opposition to Fianna Fáil.
    .
    .

…But that was the past. Fine Gael now exists to jump into bed with Fianna Fail whenever they can, if only to keep out of power Sinn Fein. Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have worked government terms together officially as partners or unofficially as enablers of one another consistently. To all intents and purposes they have become as many remake across the width of Ireland “Two cheek sides of one big and ugly backside”.

The list of clear law breaking these parties and their individual members have been involved in, is something shocking. They separately and more so collectively, have been connected to and have participated in cover-ups, along with regular question ducking, distraction antics and deliberate self-imposed silences when not also busy deliberate looking another way in direction so they might later claim plausible deniability.

Many Ireland based books have been wrote of their individual and collective antics. Writers such as Frank Connolly, Matt Cooper, Simon Carswell, Marcus McKeown, Gene Kerrigan, Pat Brennan and more, have gone into very specific detail about their antics. Names, dates, locations, who they are connected to and how they are connected, has been extensive researched and then wrote about. Amazingly, for all this awareness and in-depth research then and still now available, swathes of Ireland voters still incredibly come out and vote for the same core rotten parties. Why? Honestly, a book could be wrote about the reason “Why?”.

However, if we are to even try short version summarise, here are only a few starter reasons why Ireland voters keep inviting back the same #OldPolitics bunch that today, more operate as a ever-evolving political Mafia mob.

  1. Misinformation and Disinformation: The parties have gone out of their way, week on week, year on year, to spread false or misleading information at national and local level, in order to discredit opponents or manipulate public opinion. With the further creation and advancement of the web and it’s forms of news and opinion sections, the further use of lower rank party members and cult supporters has been utilised to increase such dodgy antics. Biased media outlets, including RTE at times, have also proved willing to voice or show their misinformation, disinformation and lies across a TV network and by radio broadcast. When the public are not majority able to hear/see any different, too many then accept such crap as factual – as no one or very few are allowed to then immediate challenge their pulped-out crap.
    .

    .
  2. Deceptive Fundraising: Using questionable and of possible misleading tactics to solicit donations – and not just cash under table in enveloped passed along – the parties have targeted their very own members alongside a population they have exploited (PR spun as “solicited”). Fianna Fail really ‘took the piss’ just recently when they decided to re-register their very party as a charity in order to get around long existing financial oversight legislation. Did they expect to get with this ludicrous re-classification on the quiet? It appears so, such was their arrogance and how low they clearly though of general public. However, their antics were rightly exposed by investigative journalists and the joke that Fianna Fail had become an official charity remains something that will forever be party of the party history.
    .
  3. Negative Campaigning: Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael in the last decades especially, have gone extensively out of their way to focus on attacking opponents rather than promoting their own policies. It’s become an unfunny running joke that Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael elected refuse to give straight “yes” or “no” Dail answers to democratic asked questions on a daily basis. What they now do, is completely duck questions, try change the topic and then deliberately attack opposition just their cheek of asking what should be clear answered. Distraction tactics have amassed in the Dail to the size of mountains.Scare tactics have no longer just become the daily tactic of local and national elections. They have become the daily tactic of those that themselves, are way over their own heads of a historic number of scandals.
    .
For the record, since the 2020 government took office alone, the party’s involved are linked to 0ver 70 such scandals and farces – and this is before we even get to also list many cases of complete utter incompetence and betrays of public trust and finances. The scare tactics are also amplified through sycophantic and blatantly obvious biased national news papers and equally obvious biased opinion writers and newspaper editors and/or their very owners. RTE once again are up to their own necks in amplification of the Fianna Fail/Fine Gael scare tactics. Their PR spinning that ‘We are the good guys. The other guys are the bad lot’ is complete hypocritical balderdash.
    .
Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have past and present corruption running through its veins and too many old and modern elected and supporters standing by them, are too quiet about their own party and its equally culpable individual members – when they are not also up to their necks involved too. …But still, they dare to lecture others!
    .
  4. The Ability To Election Run: Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael over decades have created legislation to allow people to run for election. They have created protocols that must be adhered to in order to people to run for local and national election. The existing legislations are accessible for all to read – if many were bothered but they are mostly too busy just trying to get through their working days in order to meet every rising costs of their very existence. A rising cost problem by the way, that Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have unfunny farcically failed yet again to get to grips with.
    .
I brief digress. Back the existing legislation and protocols… In short, they have made it far harder for individual people to run for election. If you are a party member, you can get free letter of permission from a higher ranked office, that awards express permission to a selected candidate, to run for election. The cost to the party is the price of a piece of paper (that is later presented to a county election returning officer for confirmation) and possibly the price of a stamp if such a short letter needs to be posted. The latter contained words to the effect stating, “Mr John Smith has the full permission/authorisation to run in the election, acting as a representative of the whatever party”.
    .
If you are an individual however, in order to qualify to run, it’s another ‘ball game’.
    .
If you want to run as an independent candidate, you must present a nomination paper to the returning officer in the constituency where you wish to stand. You can nominate yourself. This part is still free. The returning officer is given statutory declarations signed by thirty constituents or a deposit of €500 by the candidate. Sound easy? 30 Separate people have to individually identify themselves by, for example, presenting themselves at a garda station and make 30 separate declarations saying that they support your election attempt. This alone, is a logistical job to organise and make happen – so most opt for the paying of €500. A cost that doesn’t have to be paid by a registered party member holding their own piece of ‘authorising to run’ paper.
    .
For the record, at local election time, the cost for individual is less – but still considerable, especially if you are unemployed. I deliberate mention “unemployed” as here is another odd aspect. If you are unemployed, it’s a safe bet that the Department of Social Welfare will look into you as an election runner. Their often thinking is “How can the unemployed person run for election at the same time that they are supposed to be looking for work?” as according one of three conditions you have to meet, in order to gain initial unemployment benefit.
    .
Not an unreasonable requirement. If you are unemployed and seeking financial assistance, you should indeed be making efforts at the same time to be looking for work. You do ‘your bit’ and the state will do theirs. Sound! However, some in the Department of Social Welfare” haven’t seen running for election as looking for work. Even though once you are employed as an elected TD, you will be likely working seven days a week in some capacity daily – if not all day and night – if you are even a semi-decent elected representative. Yes, the Department of Social Welfare might not consider you as sticking to your signed application agreement about looking for work, a job, even though if you are eventually successful, you get a job as TD (or even local councillor). Many unemployed people have been department investigated simply because they have chosen to run for election on this ‘It’s not actually looking for a job’ basis. I kid you not.
    .
It gets possibly better. Elected as a local councillor or possibly as an independent TD, you might be then judged as automatic tax condition self-employed. You could be working for your constituency at local or national level but as you might be judged as self-employed, you will be different taxed as such – and should you then later lose your seat, there could be a differential financial benefit outcome in negative terms, of all this. It’s basically yet another kick in the teeth in the job and on the way out.
    ,
In short, to possibly try persuading people not to actually run for any election – for heaven forbid enough people ran in larger numbers and then outnumbered Fianna Fail or Fine Gael – there has been legislation additional hurdle conditions and department odd positions created, adopted and practised. Biased elected will speak how all can equally run – but you will rarely ever hear them speak about how all are not equally treated in attempt to do so. You are not supposed to know much or at all anything, about the latter.
    .
  5. Media Bias: Officially, media are supposed to be neutral and independent in their reporting. However, if you were to read the like of the (Irish) Independent and the Irish Times, it’s often not hard to see a clear bias coming from too many of its content writers. When such newspapers along with RTE and even some web news sites, are content clearly weighted towards Fianna Fail and Fine Gael in positive spin. They will deny it but the evidence can be multi-screen seen, heard or just text read and be judged for what it is.
    .
When not giving more positive time and space to those that are favoured, there’s in place more negative items directed towards those that are not liked. Articles for the favoured often go into more detail about their great plans and promises, while opposition parties at best, are given soundbite space if lucky and often far less detail space about their own initiatives or further plans. On radio, government party representatives can sometimes heard being lead into easy questions, allowed speak uninterrupted and even unquestioned on the latest scandal to erupt as if it didn’t exist in real time – but when opposition appears, they are constantly talked over, when they try to make a vital salient point, they are interrupted or the topic is suddenly neck jerking changed – and then there’s the regular tactic – a further sudden neck-jerking announcement of “Let’s go to a break” before the opposition speak has a chance to say what they fully would like to say, or able to reveal any or more details on matters that are connected to corrupt parties or government individuals. RTE and more, even at local radio station levels, have each played their part in such antics.
    .
The mass public is deliberately allowed to kept in the dark in one large way, and when they are dosed with large information, its coming a lot from those that are more favours, short on some details and with a lot of spin and even blatant lies. A lot of it allowed to go on air unchallenged by presenters who we see/hear failing to rightly call out the Fianna Fail and Fine Gael devious and liars. The ways that media work in favour of those they like and against those they hate, are long in full list, often subtle and regular complex so that the average reader is not supposed to pick up on such tactics.
    .
If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.” Hitlers evil henchman Joseph Goebbels, the head of Nazi Germany’s Ministry of Propaganda, is quoted as saying this.
    .
It’s still debated if indeed he did state it or not – but the underlying message and tactic has been hundreds of times tried and tested on world populations of vastly different sizes. Criminal convicted Trump lives by the alleged Gobbles statement. Parties and people in Ireland have done something similar at times. Ok. Not to the crazy extent as Trump, Hitler, Polpol, the leaders of North Korea and other melomaniac despots – but the underlying tactics have been the same to core extent. Lie often enough and keep repeating the lies in various word formed says, and a percentage of people will start to think
    (a) they must be telling the truth or at least
    (b) there must be something to what they are say – even if the fibbers are completely lying their rear end off from start to finish. There will always be some that swallow the lies, especially if hear over and over again. It’s a known form of brainwashing.
    .

    .
  6. Financial Matters: To run for any election, be it local or national, it’s a costly exercise. This is not a tactic instigated by any party – but certain parties knowing how expensive it is to even run, are able to take advantage of this situation. The cost of mass circulating leaflets alone, is substantial when having to cover a large constituency area. Your average pole hung poster now costs at least €6 to €8 a piece. If you have to cover a population area of considerable size with possibly one poster for every four poles,

We could keep going in describing ways that Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael, directly or by assistance, have been allowed to continue doing that they have been wrongly doing, in their incompetent ways and how through official and media operations, the two parties have been able to get away for so much for so long going back decades – not just years. All that I have wrote here, is a mere scratch of a far deeper surface.

On top of their many crimes, cover-ups, self-imposed silences on matters they wish to keep secret about other members and family acting completely wrong, over the last two government terms (and further back), the parties have blatantly operated in undemocratic fashion on many occasions.

Democracy When It’s Convenient.

The right for a nation of people to self-determination, something that just happens to be mentioned in Ireland’s constitution as a sure thing, has been repeatedly disallowed by Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael.

Let’s start with Ireland’s long standing, understood neutrality status, then we will get to matters around the nations natural resources as a mere second example.

  • Throughout world wars and more, Ireland’s previous governments have politically espoused a position of “Not getting involved” with open military matters as other nations fought against one another. Ireland stayed neutral to the point that even condolences were sent to the German people on the death of their Hitler leader. If this was morally right or wrong, is a debate still ongoing – but the underlying message of official neutrality still persisted as a national stance. Now, in full truth, governments of the time could have been unofficially more in favouring support for their offshore neighbour island, but neutrality overall as the official state stance.

.

Generations within Ireland has understood that Ireland is more neutral on matters than other economic and socio-political and even geographical issues of the day or crises. Our neutrality was a long standing given! Fianna Fail and Fine Gael over the last few terms of government, have not only decided to screw around on our neutrality stance – but do it in open undemocratic operation care of NATO fronts (PESCO, etc).

On day to day, on day to month, normal duties and decisions have to be rightly made on the spot or after various consultations with others for achieving better issues devolvement. When it comes to fundamental national stances, positions and other matters that are constitution and/or whole state connected, primary consent is often required from the citizenry of Ireland, especially matters that are of such importance to the nation.

No consent of any description was democratic sought for either the undermining or giveaway of Ireland’s neutrality or the privitisation of state assets, including department staffing exploitation of natural resources for private profit gain.

Let’s be very clear here. This is about the democratic process being allowed to be rightly conducted in order to obtain consent. It is not about fighting off giveaways themselves. If the majority of Ireland people gave vote consent to change our neutrality status or consent to go down a privatisation route, that’s just democracy in action even if some disagree with the result. However, Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael repeatedly disallow consent referendums to take place. Furthermore, at no stage has either issues and more, been presented as a topic in their election manifestos for the voters to mull over and decide on there too. The two parties have just self-adopted massive nation decision agendas without seeking morally right democratic consent.

For parties that espouse they are the embodiment of fairness and democratic process, they have year after passing month, denied the public to legal access to a ballot box on these massive important matters that affect present and future generations of Ireland citizens including its future children.

By this stage to the aware, it’s abundantly clear that Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have

  • consistently over decades, acted against the majority moral positions of Ireland’s people.
  • For equal number of decades they have acted in far too many illegal ways (recent examples, PSC, JobPath a massive scandal still buried, VRT), abusing national, international and human rights laws and signed convention.
  • Within same time period they have denied reports, buried reports, disallowed information to be accessed, used data laws to convenient block citizens and journalists. They have disallowed proper legal investigations and not allowed or called for Garda investigations.
  • They have decades long remained quiet about their own connected to missing young girls, institution abuses, possible murdered people and more crimes, including drugs being sniffed off Dail toilet tops and more – all drug or alcohol taken and mixed while additionally voting on important state matters.
  • They have time after time denied cancer victims and their families proper justice and full info access. Denied them full compensation ability. The parties have denied institute abuse victims compensation and let their abuser organisations get off from paying compensation owed and still outstanding. The parties have withheld reports that would lead to greater victim ability and legal acc.
  • Perverts and criminals have been allowed to walk, stay hidden away, unnamed, moved from location to location by others. Family and friends of elected who are suspected in the know, have been allowed to stay quiet and escape their own accountability. Religious organisations have been allowed escape prosecution. Their lands and property not seized despite refusing to pay millions owed.
  • Fianna Fail and Fine Gael for decades have been asked, begged, cried at, for
    (a) the creation of far better legislation, that in turn would lead to far greater accountability that could be
    (b) inserted directly into contracts that on paper, would then be signed by specific people – if they wished to avail of open tenders and open job positions.
    .
In other words, tender and job position paperwork would have far better extensive, far better specific detail, far better rewards and punishments detailed in writing alongside far better defined timelines – all so that far greater accountability could not only exist, but the methods to how it all could be legally enacted, could be carried out.
    .

.

.

More has been buried, denied and refuse than what has been allowed in justice or compensation over decades and victims. More has been denied to those that need positive change than has been grindingly slow passed through the Irish Dail.

It’s completely clear to the well better informed that Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are continuous clear and present danger to the people of Ireland and the direction it’s not being allowed to decide for itself. As long as limited news is continued to be broadcast by networks – including RTE who has been gifted (bribed) by the same parties to the tune of €750 million euro of taxpayer money – and lies are continuously allowed to be shared coming from member of the same parties, then too many brainwashed people will sadly again vote for the very parties and their representatives that are continuously screwing them and future generations to come.

Until a closed clique of newsoutlets and their reporters get around to becomeing more informative, more fair and more decent, the same old crap will continue. Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are in no hurry to change how they fundamentally operate. The likes of The Ditch, The Village Magazine and The Phoenix magazine will be deliberate sidelined by rotten politicians and baised news networks who like to award prizes to themselves – while deliberate excluding other fantasic, scandal exposing reporters from three prior mentioned outlets – and thus the same old crap, #OldPolitics antics will continue. No much deserved awards for The Ditch, The Phoenix or The Village magazine as usual.

So, what more needs to be better done to even start turning a tide of continuous wrongs, further political lies and brainwashing? That’s a whole other post in itself – but here’s a damn good start…

STOP VOTING FOR FIANNA FÁIL AND FINE GAEL – and anyone at all standing by them, for them or enabling them.

Untill we learn to stop repeating our rounds of vote stupidity, we will still have world of regret to come, at home in Ireland. A hard truth – but it’s still a truth.
