Another Odd Awarded Contract

Regarding that dodgy “Aramark” contract the government has awarded to an American company, to feed incoming war victims, there’s a few things the government – your local FF/FG/Green representative – and RTE media has forgot to tell you.

1. In the words of Paul Murphy – LINK –  “Aramark currently runs three Direct Provision centres in Ireland. They run what are effectively open air prisons for asylum seekers for profit. Part of how they make their profit is by providing substandard food.”

2. “It’s not just in Ireland that they get up to this. They specialise in carceral catering, being according to their own website “the largest provider of food services to U.S. prisons”. They were accused of “serving rotten and spoiled meals to inmates.”

3. “They didn’t just profit by serving substandard food to inmates, they also “cut the pay of kitchen employees in half to approximately $11, and they also discontinued some of the safety training programs.”

4. “They are so bad that many US prisons have cut ties with them! However, the National Gallery here awarded the contract to Aramark, causing an outpouring of protest.

The result was a weird semi-threatening letter from the Director to staff.”

Funny how the above details that can be independently verified, has been not mentioned by the government and is also #rtecensored. Well actually, not so funny at all!

It’s OK. Fianna Fail, Fine Gael, Labour and the Green Party has a long history of dodgy deals with even more dodgy companies. Don’t think so? You need to look into the companies involved in another racket called #JobPath (that also is costing taxpayers hundreds of Euro Millions).

That just involves mass fraud, mass stealing, bullying, physical abuses, attempted suicides, state and company data stealing and illegal transfer, intimidation and wrongful use of state departments. National and international law breaking. Human rights breaking activity. All totally buried too by the usual parties and RTE. One more Oireachtas PAC scandal redacted and buried from public attention.
