I’m regular asked “Why won’t the Green Party pull the plug on a continuous rotten government?” In truth, I’m not the only one asked this often. Many others are.
.
There are a number of reasons.
.
1. They actually think they are still a positive thing for the state.
2. They want to see through their own wanted or started plans.
3. They might want to keep out others that are opposed to them.
.
That’s a short version of just some reasons.
.
Amid the additional ones, one comes to the mind of the more political informed. Given they are part and parcel of a 2020 government that is now knee deep in 80+ scandals involving unaccountability, burying state reports including a Garda one that exposes human rights abuses, government own criminal actions besides members individually involved, double-standards, do as we say – not as we do actions, cronyism, nepotism, financial greed and much more – the Green Party knows that at the next (local/national) elections it’s facing electoral meltdown.
.
In short: “Why won’t the Green Party pull the plug on a continuous rotten government?
.
ANSWER: “…Because they know if they do that, at the next general election that will follow, they face mega wipe out – so they are now willing to stand by the other pair of parties in their trio cabal. They all can and will get up to further, cover-up more, lie more, steal more, pressgang more, etc, knowing that till they are constitution obligated to call the next general election, they will continue to protect each others backs to the bitter end.

* Ireland is the only country in the world under energy price hikes where its government has crazy decided to UP (carbon) tax charges on energy needed by all – while other countries are trying to lessen the financial taxes on people.
.
Corruption and rottenness continues unabated – and until the public hits the streets in serious protest, there will be no end to it for the foreseeable future. That’s the hard truth.
