In America, when Trump was still president, he tried to stack its top court of justice with people who support his line of thinking. Biden taking over, in order to combat this, has decided to add more judges to that higher court, to counter Trump’s own antics.

Keep this in mind as you learn that our three party Government is attempting to add between 9 to 19 new TD seats to the current Dail.

Why? Let’s be clear. It’s an attempt to try stack the Dail after the next general election, hopefully for them, with more of their own party numbers due to the rise of SF popularity.

In other words, they know that SF next time around, will gain more seats – so the current triple party government is inventing more seats to counter this prospect. What’s the betting that the new seats created, will by far, be created in regions where FF/FG has the most support? Safe bet?

“The Cabinet today signed off an amendment to the terms of reference of the Electoral Commission, which had requested that following last week’s Census, the number of the seats in the next Dáil be increased.

The commission requested the number of seats increase to at least 169, meaning an extra nine seats, or to a maximum of 179, which could be an additional 19 on the current 160.

“This is proposed as part of the constitution in response to the latest population estimates,” a Government spokesman said.”

NOTE how blisteringly fast the government moved on this issue as soon as they got their hands on the needed census numbers – the justification desperate needed. Lightening fast! Unprecedented fast!

Of course, the other standard general election tactics will still be applied also. For example, taking money dedicated towards certain state projects and reallocating it towards other county jobs where a FF or FG TD needs to timely bolster their more local voters – right before a general election?

* Example: building a town carpark with money that was previously allocated to other counties and towns (such as Drogheda) originally – or even an ex-Taoiseach who decided to reallocate state money so that he could then announce the building of a motorway through his own country – right before another general election!

Then there is voter “Gerrymandering” – the moving of constituency voting areas. Such areas, districts, etc, being redrawn in size or constituency lines moved – so that a certain party stands more chance of grabbing votes in then wider created, certain areas. The moving of voter area lines, non-coincidentally also reducing the number of voters that might support opposition too!

The latest attempt to increase TD numbers – lets be in no doubt – is akin to legalising a state coup that will be attempted to be carried out by FF/FG.
* It’s an attempt by corrupt parties to try takeover the next government by any means possible. If that means having to stack the Dail with higher numbers in their favour, once again it looks like that’s what Fianna Fail and Fine Gael will exactly do!

The Green Party? In order to keep their current elected seats, nice mega pay, perks and eventually pensions, they keep silent about it all, will vote to back their Dail mafia partners and continue keep their heads down in case they are asked “Why are you putting up with this crap?”
