For years the usual parties have been busy, deliberately quietly, chipping away at Ireland’s once recognised neutrality.
.
The first mega warning sign was the allowing of USA troops, military aircraft and weapons to fly into Shannon Airport. Allowed unchecked and unsearchable. The people of Ireland was denied any democratic vote permission, giving ability here.
.
It’s suspected that illegal kidnapped prisoners without due legal process (PR called “Rendered”) carried out, passed through Shannon quietly. They were shipped to European ‘Black sites’ where torture methods (including water boarding) illegal within USA borders, could be more applied. Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and the Green Party has deliberately kept their mouth shut about all this. No mention. No condemnation. Biased media, infiltrated by government pressure or cronies have aided this all not leaking out, enforcing a further unofficial form of censorship.
.
There has subsequently been quiet meetings consistently happening between Fine Gael elected and #NATO representatives. They are still ongoing.
.
Care of the usual culprits, Ireland has been subsequently put into another European war setup called #PESCO. To legal allow this to occur, it was cleverly, quietly slipped into a European Treaty that Ireland’s people was forced to re-vote on, till enough brainwashed folk could be fooled into accepting. The usual biased, crony filled, bought off media helped here too.
.
NATO’s Partnership for Peace (PfP) was next up or jumping into by the usual corrupt parties. Again, here too there was no public vote on the matter allowed, no public discussion, and more deliberate quiet chipping away at Ireland’s neutrality was carried out again by traitorous Fine Gael and Fianna Fail.
.
The Green Party seeing what’s been going on, has kept their mouth shut. Bought off for government seats and promised agenda to be enforced on Ireland – if it likes it or not! Again, biased, cronyism, nepotism filled media keeping their mouths shut. The government is finalising financial plans to see they get their rewards for loyalty. It will be sold as scheme to reward and (ironically) inspire journalists and journalism – as long as its more government supporting…

Neutrality, Cause for Concern – LINK

.
Then came the quiet upping percentage of our GDP from a previous low level to 3.5%+ so that more money could be quiet allocated to the buying of more military hardware. Yes, this includes the PESCO buying of France and Germany made fighter jets – Irish public money contributing. This occurred along side buying of missile and rocket launchers – needed for PESCO training, of course.
.
Yes, here too, biased media including #RTE, has again kept it’s mouth shut. Saying nothing, can’t be greater informing the public. No, a public permission vote was not allowed here too. Fianna Fail and Fine Gael just went ahead and did it. Public cost? More quiet chipping away at our neutrality, no public discussion allowed and an annual quiet increasing bill to the now tune of €3.5 BILLION A YEAR. What? RTE, Indo or Irish Times didn’t tell you this?
.
On the quiet talks have gone between government elected and NATO heads. Simon Coveney leading the charge and FF/FG (again, two parties acting as one) going along with it all. In cahoots with it all. No. No public vote permission was sought here too.
.
The NATO war machine now requires even more money – so, under the guise (public PR, biased media sales pitch) of aiding Irish troops comes the next military spending Ireland government announcement. The home annual military budget would be increased from €1.1 billion to €1.9 billion by 2028. More irony? Ireland public are being made give away more money to a European setup than to it’s own setup back home – but they/you are of course, not meant to cop all this. Of course, your biased media here too, has said bugger all. There are rewards to be gained, including lucrative political media consulting positions and more financially rewards to come. To also be PR sold too, as ‘doing the nation a favour’. Great stuff, isn’t it?
.
By the way, are you adding up the Euro Billions we are now spending one way or other, for being a supposed “Neutral” country?
.
Then we have the constitution inserted “Triple-Lock”. That damn thing that’s causing Fine Gael heads a few legal problems – and once again, Fianna Fáil going all along with Fine Gael aims. Here too, you are not meant to notice. Are we sure they are two different parties? Same damn agendas yet again!
.
With the non-stop chipping away are what is bugger all left of Ireland neutrality, one of the last major hurdles is, how to get around the triple-lock. The two (or really just one?) Parties have previously ignored it when sending off Irish troops to forigne areas of “peace keeping” – strapped with guns, armored vehicles and other firing hardware – but they cannot repeatedly do this too much or else the public might actually cop on to a bigger picture they are trying to continuously hide!

.
So, now the trio parties, headed up by Simon Coveney, are further looking at ways to get around Ireland’s constitution triple-lock. In doing so, here too the public will be given no democratic vote say on the matter, no public consultation – and should it get past silenced media including RTE, it will be then (again) PR sold as being for the good of Ireland’s people. More great stuff!
.
It’s important to note how some of the above has come about. What has been tit-bit told to the public, has been presented to the nation on the back of supposedly good being done. Latest example, let’s up military spending – but (biased) media concentrate that the money is going into troop wages – when in fact, only a proportion of it, actually is. Where the rest is exactly going, what it’s exactly being used to buy, that’s to be mostly kept secret. For the security sake of the country, of course! #Redacted. Handy excuse eh?
.
“Not in the public interest” even if some of the public are interested. Same excuse still being used by the Post Office regarding how it’s illegally got its hands on people’s personal data. Opps! You are not meant to know about that too. Forget I said it.

.

.
Are you starting to see the light yet? More need to join the dots of Fianna Fail and Fine Gael actions – and then see the bigger picture. Meanwhile, bought off on this matter, the Green Party is saying further nothing and keeping its own mouth shut. Again, much of the above seriously #rtecensored too.
.
The amount of stuff that Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and the Green Party are deliberately not telling you, is huge. It’s not in their interest to do so. Stay completely complacent. It’s only your child’s future at stake too.
.
Have a nice day. Stay distracted (biased media helping). Stay too financially struggling to be allowed notice other things. Your mischievous usual government parties thank you. Let’s have another PR, war style stunt, shall we? Enter Vogue.

RUSH TO ARMS – LINK
Date: July 28, 2022 – Affairs of the Nation – The Phoenix Magazine.
.
THREE POLLS on Irish neutrality since the Russian invasion of Ukraine have disappointed the dogs of war in government and the Defence Forces who want to abolish Irish neutrality and spend billions, literally, on armaments. But despite these polls showing an unequivocal rejection of demands to abandon neutrality, the government has pressed ahead with policy positions and actions designed to do just that.

In the months since the war began developments at home and abroad underline not only NATO’s and the EU’s determination to pressgang Ireland into the western military alliance, but a similar intent in cabinet. In April, foreign minister, Simon Coveney, said he did not think the triple lock mechanism required to allow Irish troops serve abroad (approval from the UN Security council, the Oireachtas and government) was a big problem, before hinting that a re-think might be necessary as “there is theoretically a problem here”.

In May, the Irish Times referred to the “sweeping overhaul” of EU defence being proposed in the Commission’s Defence-EU plan. The EU Commission’s VP, Josep Borrell, said, “we need modern air defences … drones … air-to-air refuelling capabilities … tanks and armoured vehicles … coastal defence … cyber and space based capabilities – just to name a few.”

In early June, some ‘good news’ arrived with announcements that Sweden and Finland had abandoned their traditional neutrality to join NATO while Denmark voted to end its opt out from EU defence. An enthused Irish Times editorial remarked that Denmark was increasing its military budget the 2% of GDP (in line with NATO guidelines) and would allow foreign troops to exercise on its soil. Progress indeed, despite the IT’s own poll showing stiff resistance to ending Irish neutrality. A scramble by Coveney and Taoiseach, Micheál Martin, saw them both jet off to these countries to discuss various issues of mutual concern, with Coveney’s press people prioritising talks about “Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.”

Further encouragement for the willing Irish generals followed days later when NATO officials marked Ireland 60% in the military goals set for it in the wonderfully titled, NATO’s Partnership for Peace (PfP). Our membership of this entity, we are constantly told, has nothing to do with Ireland joining an army or military force. Goldhawk was unaware that Irish defence forces are marked every two years by NATO officers in the Planning and Review Process (PARP).

Earlier this month, NATO’s secretary general Jens Stoltenberg rewarded the efforts of the Irish mouse that roared by saying that Ireland was welcome to join the alliance. There were no statements of denial or indignation from ministers at the presumption harboured by the head of the most awesome military force on the planet.

In the same week, the government announced that the annual military budget would be increased from €1.1 billion to €1.5 billion by 2028. An argument with finance officials about whether inflation should be built into the figures, saw the department of public expenditure collapse – unusual when asked for huge increases – and the new annual figure will be €1.9 billion.

The good news for arms manufacturers and Irish warriors is that this medium, grade 2 target – out of three projected grades – can be easily upgraded to grade 3 if the military expenditure reaches grade 2 level on time. This would allow the Defence Forces to buy some serious military equipment, including a squadron of fighter jets, apparently. Goldhawk feels confident this goal will be reached.

Another significant move towards military absorption into an EU force or NATO is likely in the Autumn if Coveney has his way on the triple lock. His casual position in April seems to have changed and he now believes that the Russians are more likely than before to use the UN Security Council veto to block Irish government and Defence Forces freedom of movement. Coveney told the Oireachtas committee on foreign affairs and defence recently that he wants a discussion on this when the Dáil resumes after the summer.

Meanwhile, responsible newspapers like the IT, Sindo and Business Post have stopped commissioning polls on neutrality. What’s the point if you keep getting the wrong answers?
.
END.
